When I was recovering on your sofa a few years ago, I found that thoughts started to come slowly, bit by bit, as I lay there. Give yourself into it, like meditation, with no expectation, and something will happen. In the short term it might just be that your body decides that the best rest it can have is a week's blankness, listening to the clock (and the rain ;-)), waking and dozing and eating pizza, or eggy bread. If you can just let it be - as you are now - I am sure that you will feel much better for it soon.
